Additional Costs to Understand

When renting construction tools and equipment, there can be additional costs and fees to be aware of, some of which can be significant. We strive to have customers that are fully informed of all possible costs. Please read below to understand some of the additional fees you could incur in addition to the rental rates shown on our product pages

.

Fuel

Fuel for equipment is charged in one of two ways:

  • Tanks < 3 gallons are charged a non refundable flat rate. We ask that you not refuel this equipment.
  • Tanks > 3 gallons are charged by the gallon used.
  • For tanks > 3 gallons you may refuel on your own to avoid this charge on your final billing.
  • We charge for all fuel provided at the time of rental (full tank) and refund any unused fuel upon return.

We always provide our equipment full of fuel so you can get right to work!

Delivery & Pickup

  • We offer delivery and pickup service to most of metro Atlanta.
  • Prices vary by type of item (towable or non-towable) and distance.

Damage Protection Program

  • Our Damage Protection Program is mandatory coverage for wear, tear, accidental damage, theft & vandalism.
  • Like any type of coverage, certain responsibilities, restrictions and deductible apply.
  • Please follow this link for full details on how this program works for you!

Sales Tax

  • The state of Georgia collects sales tax on everything we sell except direct labor charges.
  • If we deliver the equipment to you, the tax rate will be charged based on the county of delivery.

What to expect if you are late in returning your equipment

  • It is very common for rentals to extend beyond their original time frame, due to weather, construction delays, and a myriad of other reasons.
  • Within a day or two of your scheduled return date we will call you to inquire as to if you need to extend your rental period, and as a courtesy reminder.
  • If you need to extend your rental, we will re-authorize your credit card for the additional amount that will be due.

  • We will happily mail or email you a copy of your final bill should you request one
  • We cannot send billing copies to anyone that is not listed on the original rental contract
  • We generally don’t schedule pick-up times.  Pick-ups are done as truck capacity is available.  Equipment may sit on your site for a day or longer after you have called for pick-up.
  • Please keep the equipment secured as your responsibility for it does not end until it is back in our possession, regardless of when you called for pick-up.
  • You will not be charged for the time between when you called the equipment off rent and when we actually retrieve it, unless you are using it when we arrive for pickup.  In that case, the rental period will be considered ended when we load the equipment onto the truck.
