It’s easy to get lulled by a low first dollar daily rental price. And it’s easy to think that all rates are created equal. But if you don’t understand the rate structure, you’re only getting a small part of the story. Here’s what we want you to understand:
The NTR Advantage Rate Program
Northside Tool Rental has fundamentally changed the way rental customers think about rates. Historically rental rates were built around simply discounting long term rentals. Rent something for three days and you’re at the week. Nine days you’re at the month. But what happens in between? And what happens if my rental doesn’t go perfectly? What are my options? Most other rental companies can’t answer those questions, but at NTR we can!
Contractors Daily – Due ‘End of the day Tomorrow’
We want to help simplify your life – At NTR your rentals today are due by the close of business tomorrow. No more rushing around to beat the 24 hour clock. Just return your daily rentals by close of business the following day for the standard 1 day rate. Another way to think about this is as a standard 24 hour rental, with a grace period until the end of the day. Please note: This program applies to in store pick-up only and does not apply to delivered equipment.
Early Return Program
Ever heard your rental company say something like ‘you’re at the week, just keep it’. What they are saying is that since you’ve already reached the weekly rate, there is no reason for you to return the equipment. At NTR, certain key items (Bobcats, Backhoes, Scissor lifts, etc) are part of our Early Return Program. With this program, you still get the same Weekly & Monthly pricing discounts, but you also get a reduction from the weekly or monthly rate when you return the item early. In other words, if you’re done with the equipment, go ahead and return it and you’ll always save money. We take the last 10% of the rental period and spread it across the remaining days. That saves you money!
Items that are a part of the Early Return Program: Skid-Steer Loaders, Track Loaders, Compact Track Loaders, Min-Excavators, Scissor Lifts, Backhoes, Warehouse & Reach Forklifts, Ride-op Compaction Rollers.
Rental Purchase Option
Ever rent a tool for a day, only to have your job carry over or pick up additional jobs, and that daily rental turns into a weekly, or a monthly? Then you wish you had just invested in the purchase of a tool. At other rental companies, you’re out of luck. But at NTR you can apply a portion of your rental fees towards the purchase of the item! No more wasting money on rentals when you should have just purchased the item.
Return to any Branch
We opened convenient locations around town to make accessing your rental equipment as easy as possible. And to make your life even easier, we allow you to return any item to any location, regardless of where you rented it from. Rent a saw in the morning from our Buckhead location, and turn it in the next day in Marietta. Or rent a mixer from our Norcross location and return it to Sandy Springs. Whatever is most convenient for you is all that matters at NTR. Ask any other rental operations how they feel about you returning your items to another branch (for a real kicker, ask the big boxes this question!)
Weekend Rental Special
At NTR we were the first in the industry to utilize a 1 day rate over the weekend on every item we carry! Rent anything on Friday afternoon and you are not due for return until Monday morning for the standard 1 day rate! That means no more rushing back to the rental company in between your kids soccer games, or after church. Keep the equipment you rent from NTR for the whole weekend and do your work on your schedule. And drop the equipment off on your way back to work on Monday and we’ll unload you so you don’t get your clean work clothes dirty. Will any other rental company going to do that for you? No way – only NTR!
Weather Protection
The best laid plans can be ruined by weather. And if you have rental equipment tied up and you get rained out, it can be costly. At NTR we understand that and have created a one of a kind Weather Protection program. For each week of rental we offer you 1 day of weather protection. If your job got stalled due to weather and you have equipment on rent for a week or longer, call us up and we’ll extend your rental by a day per week at no charge to you. That’s the Northside Tool Rental way! And we’re the only ones offering this program.
No Obligation Reservations
Call as far in advance as you would like and we’ll reserve your piece of equipment for the exact date and time you need it. We require no pre-payment and charge no cancellation fee. Just give us a call, tell us your name, and that’s it. If you decide you don’t need it, just let us know. It’s that simple. Believe it or not, some of the big box rental stores STILL don’t take reservations!
Damage Protection Program
Unlike some other programs out there, ours covers both damages and theft of the equipment while in your possession. And at 10% of the rental fee, it is among the lowest cost program in the market.
