Every holiday gathering involves good food, right? To ease the load, include as many make-ahead dishes on the menu as you can. Pie crusts and other baked goods can be made ahead and frozen. Casseroles and some salads can also be prepared in advance. All vegetable peeling, dicing and chopping can be completed the day or two before. Another big help is to set up a serve yourself beverage station. Include everything guests will need for coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and other drinks.
